Lithoscry (A combination of the Greek word for stones "lithos" and the word cry) Is derived from the passage in Luke 19:40 where Jesus told the religious community that if His disciples held their peace that "the stones would immediately cry out."  Because of religious tradition and misconceptions concerning God and His Son Jesus, the stones outside of the Christian Church are crying out today, especially within the heavy metal and hard rock communities. Unfortunately, much of today's professing church has been silent in professing the Glory of God and the truth of the Gospel that salvation is by "grace through faith alone" (Eph. 2:8-9).

The ministry of Lithoscry was birthed out of a passion for Jesus and a love for heavy metal and hard rock.  Glenn, the founder of Lithoscry and host of the Raven's Heart Livestream discovered that God was speaking to him very clearly through the songs of several heavy metal bands such as Kamelot, Within Temptation, Delain, Sirenia, and Nightwish while recovering from a brain tumor.  While exploring this phenomenon, Glenn was led to write the book "Stones That Cry:  God's Precious Metal" and has set on a journey to help others see Jesus and the Gospel through music that the church has often rejected as being of the devil.  While many may see this as unusual, it is exactly what the Apostle Paul did on Mars Hill when he pointed many Greeks to Jesus by referring to the lyrics from "The Hymn of Zeus."

Glenn graduated from Liberty University Theological Seminary with a Masters Degree in Religion, has served as an assistant pastor, and hosted a television program entitled "Arise and Shine" as well as co-hosted and produced a faith-based radio show entitled "Get Real!" on News Talk 1250 AM in Charleston, South Carolina. 

Since its inception, Lithoscry has grown from a book to a podcast featuring music and bands , to a weekly live stream, to hosting Get Revelation Rockfest in Charleston, South Carolina which features the bands and artists that have been a part of the Lithoscry community. 

Poe is the snarky and sometimes sweet co-host of  Raven's Heart.  He thinks he helps the show by adding a few words here and there.  Fortunately, like his fellow corvids, he can only say a few words or short sentences.  If he could say more, he would probably take over as the host of the show.

Poe really enjoys hard rock and heavy metal. However, he is a diversified bird who also enjoys 70's hits such as "Disco Duck" and "Muskrat Love."   Those albums are on the library shelf behind him in his studio. 

Undoubtedly, he has a RAVENous appetite and enjoys eating Twizzlers and Tacos.
